Kaleidoscope Rectangular / Trapezoid Mirror System
Rectangular or trapezoid mirror systems have 4 sides. If each side is a mirror then you have a full field image.
The Diamond image below, uses 4 mirrors of the same size (a square), but the sides are set in a diamond angle. If you make 2 opposing sides of the square non-reflective, then you get a chorus line. The chorus line variations are differences in how I set the angles.
The Cherokee Headdress (aka Rainbow Love) is a trapezoid where the top (non-reflective side) is much narrower than the other sides and the bottom is also non-reflective.
A Cherokee Forrest is a full field trapezoid (similar to the Cherokee Headdress) where only the small side is non-reflecting which gives it the look of trees in the forest.
I'm still learning, but hopefully this page will grow more as I play with the mirrors.
